Referrals
Referral enquiries can be made by telephone or by clicking on this link and completing a referral enquiry form.
We will respond to enquiries within 48 hours and endeavour to book an assessment or client visit.
New referrals are able to visit the unit while waiting for funding to be arranged (upon receipt of a satisfactory risk assessment).
There is a 6 week assessment period for all new referrals once they join Benfield Hall to ensure the unit can meet their needs.
We work in close partnership with colleagues from Health, Social Care and other Voluntary organisations to facilitate comprehensive care packages for our clients.
Clients who have the support of carers/family can involve them in care planning and decision making if they wish to do so.
Kimblesworth receives consistently good reports following inspection by the Care Quality Commission.

The unit is staffed at all times by qualified mental health nurses along with support staff.
Catering and domestic staff provide valuable services within the unit.
The unit provides placements to student nurses studying at Teesside University and is recognised as being a valuable placement opportunity.
